Children
Hello, My name is Stacy Hostetter. I am the Children’s Pastor here at Windward Ministries. I would like to share with you my vision for Children’s Ministry. Right now we are small but my hope is that God will bring individuals and families into Windward to help it grow.
Why “Windward Kidz” you might ask:
Kids are naturally curious, and when allowed to make discoveries they gleam so much more from what they learn than the normal process of teaching. I want our kids to be excited to come to church, to want to dig deeper into the Word of God and discover their own relationships with God that will last them a life time.
Windward Kidz: is an exciting time each Sunday morning for kids ages 3 years to 5th Grade. The kids begin the morning in the main service with mom and dad and then are dismissed to the Kidz Zone following the opening praise and worship. This time includes bible sharing, craft/activity and snack. I hope to incorporate worship gear more towards children once we are in a building with more room.
Our Vision for Windward Kidz is to:
1. Help the kids discover who they are in Christ
2. Help the kids discover their own ability to have a relationship with Christ
3. Help the kids discover the value of the Word in their lives
4. Help the kids discover the significance of Missions in their own lives
Our Focus is Basics of Prayer, The Word, Worship and Missions.We hope to make our kids stronger in their relationships with Christ. It may even be what makes our families stronger and in turn make our church stronger.
