Meet Pastor Jason & His Family

I have spent the last ten years as a youth pastor of a successful youth ministry at the Buffalo Valley Church of the Brethren of Mifflinburg, Pa.

I have felt God leading me to start a new church. My wife (Stacy) and I have have a heart for the un-churched. So many people in our culture feel church is irrelavent. We believe that Jesus is the answer for healing and an having an abundant life.

We believe church has three primary purposes: 1. to Glorify God, 2. share the Gospel, and 3.to disciple others. To often churches become distracted by doing other things that take their focus off of their divine purpose. We here at Windward are not perfect , but we are going to strive to provide a warm, welcoming place where people can come in and be themselves without fear of judgement. We believe true spiritual growth only takes place through loving caring relationships.

Stacy Hostetter (Jason’s wife) is a partner in the ministry. Stacy is involved in Children’s Ministry, and a worship leader. She is a band director at Middleburg Middle School, Middleburg Elementary, Perry-West Perry Elementary. Stacy loves to worship and has been leading Contemporary Worship for nearly 10 years. Stacy can play almost any instrument!
